Textile Arts - ‘Slow Cloth’
During the day we will be exploring a variety of textile arts, experimenting with natural dyes, weaving with recycled materials, spinning yarn with a drop spindle and using meditative slow stitching practices.
At lunch time we will take a short walk in the local countryside, returning to the nearby cafe for a light lunch.
This daytime course will be a chance to relax with the healing power of nature and experience how crafting with nature can reconnect us to the area in which we live as well as back to ourselves.
The class will run for a small group of 6-8 people.
Materials for the crafts and a light lunch are included in the fee. Please advise of any allergies in the notes when booking your place.
